Opportunities often come from our connections. Thank you for being a bridge all these years and for this chance, even if it took a while to happen. I appreciate your role as the gallery coordinator for the City of Gaithersburg and for hosting my solo exhibition in a space I know well. Everything has turned out well, and I look forward to the reception tomorrow evening.
I am often reminded that some opportunities in life come to us via who we know. being a bridge all these years and my sincerest thank you for providing this opportunity even if it takes years, then it happens all at once. Thank you being the gallery coordinator for the City of Gaithersburg for quite some time, and for offering to host me as a solo exhibitor in a space that I have become quite familiar with. Everything came together as well as I could expect, and I am looking forward to the reception tomorrow evening.
I am often reminded that some opportunities in life come to us through the connections we make with people along the way. Being a bridge for so many years, I want to express my sincerest gratitude for providing this incredible opportunity. Sometimes, even if it takes years, everything seems to happen all at once. Thank you for serving as the dedicated gallery coordinator for the City of Gaithersburg for quite some time, and for graciously offering a solo exhibit in a space that I have grown quite familiar with. Everything came together in a way that exceeded my expectations.

Yes, it seems like it will rain on Saturday, but the temperature will rise, making the day feel more pleasant despite the rain.
Merry Christmas, dear family. Today brought happiness, warmth, and joy in celebrating our traditions together.
Can we hike locally on Saturday? I'm celebrating Christmas with Karys that day.
I haven't biked since October. but I like biking in December when the air is cool and fresh. Today, I wanted to show my bike some love by taking on an exciting adventure that would make both of us feel alive. Thankfully, I carried my electric hand warmer with me, which actually came in very handy to help restore feeling back into my cold toes. Its warmth provided much-needed comfort during the chilly moments, making the experience much more bearable. I have learned to embrace the thrill of the ride and feel the freedom that comes with it.
Thank you for notifying us about the situation. I appreciate the update and, for now, I’m going to play it by ear, taking things as they come and adjusting my plans as necessary.
Sorry, Silvia. Given the cold and wet weather, I don't feel comfortable hiking, so I'll skip this one.
The night fog covers the city mysteriously. 50° F feels warm compared to before. We share experiences on our journey.
Last Saturday evening, Melody and I noticed many 2-inch brad nails on the road. This morning, Mom and I decided to clean them up since fewer cars were passing by. Alrighty then, family. Have a good good day!
On my way home from Detroit through Ohio, I took a picture of a man at a rest area because he looked like Brent.
Hoping for a good start to the year. It's a bit cold and windy, but 2025 is beginning well.

As we enter the new year, let’s progress in our lives. Our pastor has highlighted God’s lessons that can bring us renewal. Stop expecting the worst; Start expecting the best. God is still faithful. Focus on what you truly believe in. Stop feeling guilty for choosing what's best for you. You live once and die once; make the most of each day.

On a rainy and cold day, the overcast sky hangs low, casting a muted light over the landscape. Every branch and leaf seems to droop under the weight of the persistent rain. Fog blankets the ground, as I explore a damp environment that embraces everything.

Today, the roads were clear enough, so I gathered my gear and I drove to Lake Bernard Frank park. Got some decent shooting in for nearly 2 hours.

Tim, would you be willing to commission this space? Preferably square. Plenty matting for comfort. Space would be 46 in x 46 in. I really enjoyed your geese series since the last time we shooks hands at your Parents living room. Yes, it's been a while, and you saw the geese print just after the Strathmore show. I have a website domain, and I think it needs a store. Do you know where I can get prints made?

When can we meet to talk about this? Are you interested in this opportunity? Yes, I’m definitely interested! I will be available tomorrow, at 8 a.m. at the earliest, so feel free to reach out if you need anything at that time. When can you buy it? I would be glad to sell it to you and give any extra information you need. Is tomorrow good for you? What time should we meet?

This is great, Dave! Thank you so much! What’s my bill? Thank you for suggesting that I take a First Aid course. It will give me a great chance to improve my medical training and knowledge in this important field. Before, I called you because my group is starting to gather again. The last two events I went to were good, even with more people. Our leader wrote a newsletter sharing our experiences and thoughts. She mentioned that 24 people came to the last event, but we couldn't meet everyone because DC was crowded. I didn't anticipate the other 500,000 people either, which was my fault for not thinking this all the way trough. We exited the train at Smithsonian Station, but were directed to exit on the other side to help with crowd control. The exit was free, thankfully. No matter how much I look at a digital map, I always end up getting turned around. The meeting point was supposed to be at the entrance of the Natural History Museum… We followed the crowd instead of going to the museum. I enjoyed going by myself in past years, and I’m learning to participate with a group by squeezing through the crowd, losing each other and then finding another to be all part of the fun. I typically stay nearby, but as a photographer, I occasionally lag behind the group as it helps to see who is ahead. I prefer to remain with everyone, so they might keep an eye on me if I fall out of sight. While most people in our group are independent to some extent, I noticed that someone will require extra assistance, so we work to resolve every issue. It's tough sometimes, but we make it through together.
Things I am putting into practice more:
Collect more phone contacts
Wear bright clothing in crowds
Designate meeting points
Carry twice the amount of snacks
Review the map in advance
Attend a First Aid class

Have a good trip today!

Hi everyone, it's Tim. I’m up late and want to share my thoughts. I attached my modified google.com/map for reference and one of my timeless B/W photos. Ummm…. I feel particularly safe in Washington, D.C., and I continue to enjoy this type of event even after nearly 20 years of attending them. This public outing allows me to connect with people I know and even get to know new individuals. I genuinely hope that I don’t end up talking your ear off with my excitement and enthusiasm for our conversations. I would rather not go by myself this year, so I look forward to taking the Redline metro to DC with everyone. Trains are on schedule, so It’s important to be on time - bring your things and have your rider pass ready. Let’s start off well.
Follow the metro map to the Smithsonian Metro Station. Make sure to exit the train there! Ground level meetup point looks like the entrance of the Natural History Museum. Ahhh! Infinity Sculpture. Then I like to walk by the Washington Monument, launch my kite and walk the Tidal Basin to explore another part of DC. Let’s plan to go counter-clockwise and appreciate the scenery. After that, I usually head back to the Washington Monument and then to the nearby metro stations. My walking route is almost 4 miles, and we will be walking for well over 2 hours. I can stay there and enjoy the beautiful scenery until sunset, but after that, I start to feel cold.
As a photographer, I sometimes wander off from the group. I usually stay close if you allow me. Please watch me if I go out of sight, as I want to stay with everyone the whole time.
God bless this event.

Would you like to see all my photos from our lovely second walk in DC? This time at the lovely cherry blossom festival. I’ve been doing this for quite a while now and truly enjoy capturing these moments, but it often takes several sessions on the computer to carefully choose my best pictures from among many. If you happen to see yourself in any of the photos and would prefer not to have your image shared online, please just let me know, and I will promptly address your request. I searched maps for hiking spots and discovered new places.
It was a great weekend for a run, so I picked the Black Hill Trail. The day began cloudy but cleared up to a nice blue sky. I took a long break by the calm water to enjoy the sun. After that, I ran back. I timed it just right, and I found myself off the trail just as the sun was setting, casting a stunning golden hue across the landscape. I edited each photo with the same soft colors to make the collection look consistent.
I went to see Forrest Frank live in concert in Baltimore. Please pray for safe travels and a blessed event.
I went to a Forrest Frank concert at UMBC last night, and it was an incredible experience. The crowd was diverse in age, but it was primarily composed of young individuals who were all excited to be there.

Thank you for responding to this thread. It helps us know who to expect for the group hike.
Things to remember the night before the hike:
Wear your favorite walking shoes, all-terrain running shoes, or minimalist footwear. Hiking boots aren’t necessary for most trails in Montgomery County, but they are better in colder weather.
Bring a hiking backpack or hip pack to carry your gear. Choose one that fits well and has enough space for your essentials.
Dress in layers with weather-appropriate clothing.
Pack practical items like a bandana, hand sanitizer, bug spray, and water in an insulated bottle.
Bring double the amount of food: trail snacks and something for the drive home. I can share 16 packs of trail mix and some bananas.
Have a restful night!

A social media detox is a deliberate decision to step away from various platforms for a specific period of time. During this break, individuals may experience a range of emotions, such as relief from the constant stream of notifications and posts, but also potential feelings of anxiety or withdrawal from the community interactions they are accustomed to. People often use this time to reconnect with offline hobbies, engage in face-to-face conversations, or reflect on their personal goals and mental health. Overall, the process can lead to increased self-awareness and a better understanding of one's relationship with technology and social media. Over the last five years, I've improved my lifestyle to have better meals, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep.
What is one thing you learned from your detox? There are many.
I understand you were used to it.
Thank you for adding me again. It really means a lot to hear you’re doing well.
